Police seek for suspects in separate armed robberies in Colorado Springs | Colorado Springs Information


Colorado Springs police were looking for pistol-packing robbers after a pair of Wednesday night crimes.

Just before 11 p.m., a robber with a pistol entered the 7-Eleven convenience store at 6495 Issaquah Drive and demanded cash and cigarettes from a male clerk, police said.

The suspect fled the area on foot with an unknown amount of money, police said. The clerk was uninjured.

Police say they searched the area, but didn’t find the crook.

Just after 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to another robbery North Academy Boulevard.

When officers responded to the scene at the 2800 block of West Serendipity Circle, a woman told them two robbers with pistols has demanded cash.

The suspects fled the scene before police arrived, police said.
